Frequently Asked Questions - Ordering

There are two major considerations when choosing a golf travel bag or case - level of protection, and level of convenience.

A hard golf travel case will offer the best in protection for your golf clubs, while a soft golf travel bag will offer the best in convenience. Then there is the Turtle 2 from GTB that cleverly combines the best traits of a soft bag and a hard case.

Our hard cases are made from super-rugged ABS plastic. They can withstand lots of abuse while your golf clubs remain protected inside. With a case, though, the tradeoff is a degree of convenience. Cases are heavier and bulkier than a soft bag. Wheels and handles help, but the size and weight of a case should be considered.

Our soft bags are very convenient to use and store. All of our soft bags fold and compress for easy storage, and they offer many features to help transport your clubs safely, including padding to protect club heads, and compression straps to secure your golf clubs in the bag so they're not just loosely packed. Soft bags also typically have several pockets for stowing extra gear and accessories. With some of our bags, you may be able to leave a piece of standard luggage home because of the extra packing space provided.

The Turtle 2 combines the best of hard cases and soft bags. The top of the bag, where club heads are situated in a packed bag, is made of the same rugged ABS plastic as our cases. The rest of the bag is lightweight, durable, foldable fabric. You also get several accessory pockets, just like the best of our soft bags. The Turtle is an excellent choice if you simply don't want to compromise security or convenience.

We are unable to offer free shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, even if the order is over $74.95, because we would lose lots of money, quite frankly. For anywhere in the continental U.S., shipping charges for all of our products are pretty uniform, and very predictable. The cost is not much different to ship a case or bag to Maine than it is to ship to California. However, to ship to Alaska or Hawaii could cost more than the item's cost.

Obviously, we wish we could offer free ground shipping to AK and HI, but because of the size and weight of our packaging, it simply isn't feasible for us to do so. Thank you for your understanding.
